Costs

While others charge for book trailers ranging into the thousands a basic package starts at $350. That is a 15 second trailer using free video and/or images as well as music in the public domain or ones you have purchased or own. Titles and words are included as well for whatever you want to say.

Narration is done by voice actors which you can submit your own files or hire ours. They typically average $100 for 15 seconds. If you do hire them then you would need to submit a script and rehearse it yourself to ensure it fits the time frame. Generally you want to have a second or better of silence at the beginning and end.

Fully animated trailers with flying books etc are created by other artists and have to be bought preferably by you so you hold the license. I would just need the files to work on. This gives you the files to use or edit later by me or anyone else.

Once your trailer is done and you are satisfied, I will submit it on all my social media outlets if you wish and when.

Once a price for a project is settled upon, I will submit to you and eInvoice to pay through Square payment systems. Upon payment I will begin work on your great project!

FAQS

What is your refund policy?

There are no refunds once the video is in production because resources are paid for to create your video. However if you are not happy, we will try to do our best to accommodate you. Just be very careful and descriptive upon ordering of what you are hoping for.

How long does it take to get my video trailer?

If you chose a simple pre-made template with no customization, it could be just a matter of a few days. Heavy customization extend the time plus the demand for our service can impact the time. Also the voice talent works your narration into their busy schedule. If they are not able to get to your narration in a normal amount of time we will let you know in case you would like to switch or drop that option.

What social media sites can you share my video on?

The list can change to add more but currently we will place it on: facebook, YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, Tumbler, Podcast, Vimeo, Pinterest, BookReels, SoundCloud, Blogs, Linkedin and others. You may use our links if you do not have accounts on these sites to help you promote your book. You also get the added benefit of exposure to our audience.

Can I narrate my own video?

Absolutely! You just need to keep it under the video's time. You might allow for a second of blank audio before an after the video. Often times when the video is played the audio might not cut in immediately on some websites. Having a pause of audio after the video starts helps make sure the viewer hears your whole narration. While you can provide your own, we encourage you to hire our narrators which are professional voice talents and can convey a steady clean narration.

Can I put any music, picture of video in the background?

It needs to be royalty free which means you paid for the rights to use that media. Using unauthorized copyrighted material is not allowed.

My book has adult content, will my video reflect that?

All videos need to be viewable by any audience. The narration and text can infer what your book is about but it needs to be acceptable to view by anyone. No curse words or pornography is allowed. However your book cover shown in the video is not altered.

How long will my video be available to download?

There is no time limit on re-downloading your video. If the link no longer works, let us know and we will make it available again. However we are not responsible for your video once you have received it.

Do you offer narrations other than English?

We currently have a female narrator that is bilingual, English and Spanish.

A place I want to advertise my video says it needs to be changed?

There is a change element charge which you can purchase to make it compliant with that advertiser.

What format is the video?

It is delivered in mp4 format which is usable on video sharing social sites. If you need a different format, we can help with that.

How do I embed my video on my website?

There are plenty of website code examples for doing this but youtube has a script that easily allows it.

Can I edit my video on my own after recieving it?

Absolutely, it is your video.

Do you offer discounts?

Currently we offer a $50 discount on book trailers to Houston Writers Guild members.

Can I use my trailer to advertise on TV or movie theatres?

If it fits their criteria and if you used royalty free material that licenses for that, absolutely.

Can you tell me if I have violated the royalty free license agreement?

We do not police your video usage. That is between you and the material licenser.

I have a publishing logo to put on the video?

That is perfectly fine, it is an added element which you simply pay to insert.

Can I create my own bakground video from my camcorder?

Yes you may use your own video, it is simply an added insertion fee. Just be sure to not include license plates of vehicles or street signs. Also you would need to have releases of anyone's face in the video for your usage. Again we do not police that, but that is something you would need before publicizing your video.

Aleksandar Zavišin

Music Composer

At the age of 15 I found a way to express myself and show the world who I am. I started composing my own music and enjoyed every moment of it. At the beginning music was not great at all but I continued developing my passion toward music composition.

At university, while completing an economics degree, I continued my active musical education, continuously refining my composing skills and took classical singing classes. I eventually became assistant to my professor and renowned composer Irena Popovic, who recognized and fostered my talent.

After graduation, I dedicated myself to composing music in various commercial spheres, including videos, commercials, video games, short films and feature films. I have been working with producers and artists around the world, blending cultures, styles and genres, from China to the US.
